Why Did We Decide To Carry On Cooking?
We thought about hanging up our aprons but in reality, there are so many reasons for us to continue cooking…
Reason 1. – Providing food is in our bones.
Reason 2. – We can employ and pay people who we are not eligible for furlough as they joined Tampopo too late.
Reason 3. – We can buy products from our suppliers who really are struggling right now.
Reason 4. – We can minimise wastage!
Reason 5. – In our own small way, we can help take some pressure off the supermarkets.
Reason 6. – We aim to donate meals to key workers including NHS staff via a scheme set up by Deliveroo.
Reason 7. – If we make any money this will help fund the NHS free meals and we can support Broughton Park Rugby Club.
