For the past 20 years, we have made it our mission to bring the finest food from across East Asia right here in Manchester with authentic tastes. Our flavours and aromas are traditionally found and originate from the bustling food stalls of Bangkok to the noodle vendors of Singapore.

And having just recently celebrated our 20th birthday party, we thought we’d share your 20 top flavours, as ordered by you!

20. Laksa

The first flavour of the top 20 Tampopo dishes hails from Singapore – the classic Laksa soup with yellow noodles, king prawns, chicken and squid in a fiery coconut broth, with mint, cucumber, red onion, tofu and lime. Have you tried one yet?

19. Chilli Lemongrass

Light and refreshing Vietnamese flavours, have you tried our chilli chicken lemongrass with red peppers, lemongrass and onions in an oyster sauce.

18. Imperial Rice

Imperial rice is a superior rice dish with Pork Belly, toasted sesame seeds, lemongrass and coriander. Vegan options also available.

17. Thai Tamarind

A dish for any duck lover, tamarind duck from Thailand is a tender duck breast in a zesty tamarind sauce, served on a bed of Asian greens topped with fried onion flakes. Tofu option also available.

16. Indonesian Noodles

Combining the spicy chillies and aromatic seasonings of Indonesia, these noodles are packed with Asian greens, oyster mushrooms, tomato, egg and either chicken or prawns.

15. Satay & Nasi Rice

Originating from the diverse culinary flavours of Malaysia, satay chicken and nasi rice is served with prawn crackers, red onion, cucumber and a peanut sauce.

14. Chicken Massaman

Another refreshing curry from Thailand, chicken massaman is slow cooked and packed with fragrant spices, potato and peanut.

13. Molee Curry

Another classic from Singapore, this dish is a creamy yellow curry is packed with flavours such as coconut milk, turmeric, curry leaves, galangal, sweet potato, tamarind and cherry tomatoes. Served with chicken, vegetables of prawns.

12. Thai Rice

A truly tasty rice dish originating from Thailand, Thai fried rice includes five beans, mushrooms, pineapple, egg, Asian basil and peanuts. You choose between chicken, vegetable or prawn.

11. Red Curry

Another colourful Thai curry, the red curry packs more heat with lychees, cherry tomatoes, Asian basil and lime leaf cooked in a spicy coconut curry sauce. Order yours with a choice of chicken, vegetable, duck, prawn or rump steak.

10. Green Curry

One of our favourite Thai dishes, enjoy the classic smooth green curry flavour with aromatic coconut curry sauce, bamboo shoot, Asian basil, lime leaf and either chicken, prawn or vegetables.

9. Beef Rendang

Our recipe originates from Malaysia. Beef rendang is slowly cooked for 6 hours to lock in the flavours of the coconut, chilli, shallots. Galangal and lemongrass. Served with a healthy side of smashed cucumber salad and roti slices.

8. Yaki Udon

Fresh tastes from off the Japanese coast, Yaki Udon is a chunky fish with noodles and chicken, prawns, mussels squid, egg, soy and mirin.

7. Ramen

Of course, the classic Ramen from Japan made the top 20! Served with your choice of either rump steak, chicken, vegetables or seafood, the Ramen soup is a flavoured broth with noodles, Asian greens, bamboo strip, spring onion and nori.

6. Singapore Noodles

A standalone dish for noodles lovers everywhere. Prawns, egg, pork belly and chicken with a mild curry flavour. A vegetable option is also available.

5. Pad Krapow

Another authentic dish from the topical Thailand – Pad Krapow is a fiery dish with oyster sauce, red chillies and peppers, Asian basil and your choice of either rump steak, chicken or prawns.

4. Thai Curry Noodles

Thai curry noodles is a bowl filled with tastes from Thailand with yellow noodles in a red curry sauce complete with chicken, ginger, garlic, fresh lime and red onion. Have you ordered one yet?

3. Nasi Goreng

Hailing from Indonesia, your third favourite Tampopo flavour is the Nasi Goreng with chicken, lime leaves, chilli, cucumber, egg, onion flakes and fine beans. Fried egg optional!

2. Katsu Curry

Your second favourite dish at Tampopo, the Katsu Curry is a Japanese classic with chicken breast or sweet potato deep-fried in a panko breadcrumb with a mild curry sauce and sticky rice.

1. Pad Thai

Originating from Thailand, the Pad Thai is your favourite Tampopo flavour with sour-sweet rice noodles, Asian greens, egg, bean sprouts, dried shrimp, roasted peanuts and lime Chicken.
